Greetings!
My name is Jean Lacoursiere. I am a self-employed physicist specializing in optics. I built this website to present my services
in optical design and engineering, a field which occupies me since 1998.
I can bring an optical design from initial idea to production, or achieve specific tasks (small or big) in a given project. I own
a single-user licence of the optical design software OpticStudio 20.1.2 Professional from Zemax and of the program Matlab (R2019b).
My satisfaction resides in helping clients in their optical projects. My first goal is to work closely with the client to find
the best solution for the problem or task submitted. I believe that a technical consulting relationship deserves
to be a pleasant experience based on transparency and mutual understanding. For this reason, I strongly value clear communications,
oral and written.
Modern means of communication (phone, email, Skype) have allowed me to establish contracts with clients in Quebec, the United States
